I grew up in Pensacola, home base for Blue Angels training. Since then, I've always had a fascination with aircraft and flying, though never considered that flying was for me.
Not until my friend Tim told me he bought a BlackFly and asked me to get trained to fly it, too. So I checked out videos of the electric aircraft and was convinced of the quality and the safety — and super-stoked to come to Palo Alto for training.

I never knew that flying was my thing, until I had this opportunity to fly the BlackFly. It's so darn easy to fly.
My dream flight? Fiji or Tahiti would be amazing.
Was there a turning point in your flying when you said to yourself I've got this?
Mastering hover mode was critical. Repeated hover flights — just 30 feet, up and down, over and over. Rehearsing the hand movements on the joystick. That's how I learn.
