I've been flying drones for a long time and started wondering why is the drone having more fun than I am?

So when I saw a YouTube video of the Pivotal BlackFly, I was immediately captivated. In fact, the opportunity to fly the BlackFly was the main reason I joined the company. I trained in 2022 and haven't looked back.

Favorite Place to Fly

Descending below the cliffs at Torrey Pines, I reached negative altitude

It's very relaxing to fly. With the BlackFly you don't have to think too much about controlling the aircraft. It just wants to go where you tell it to go.

And when you fly, the aircraft kind of disappears, so you can be in the moment and in the environment. The aircraft does that for you.

What one thing or feeling has surprised you the most about flying in a Pivotal aircraft?

The aircraft is very active. Unlike a Cessna, it's adjusting 100 times a second. I can hear every change in RPM; I can even hear the control system in operation.
